Since I have only just finished the last book of the year (and unfortunately I was even half as good as hoped for), here is my reading list ... It is not much, especially as the children's books are not as extensive, but I think 2011, it will be longer ... on the book "Huckleberry Finn adventure" I read already and it's great, "Peter Pan" and "The Wizard of Oz" are next to "Percy Jackson" and "The Book Thief". It will be exciting, especially as I review some books to be had here. In addition to the summer of 2011, finally, the third volume of "Adrian Mayfield" - appear set - I can not wait for him at last in the hands keep (I will swallow him within a few days:))

Scholarships, Syncope
things that may say.
sometimes I laugh so much that I forget the reason. sometimes I laugh so much that it is already sad. Sometimes I laugh to do so because nothing is better. Sometimes I laugh because you're not in society is to scream.
today was a no-tag, and had every mood there. even an afternoon nap was, come on something.
now I'm disappointed, terribly disappointed. I think a promise is a promise. So, more wrong, because who has promised, as he has promised me something. that makes me sad, and so sometimes I do.

24.12. took its course, when I clock about 11 staggered out of bed. I had not slept so well and was only half me. Since I've slept with Tanja, I of course had no opportunity to take the last packet received, which I've ordered from just under 3 weeks as a Christmas gift. Basically, I knew it for over 1 week at customs is stuck, because I no longer expected that in time it is, I simply said: Anyway, I'm not just there (at least it took from Korea to Germany 30 hours, from FFM to Wiesbaden 1 week)
And so I found against 12, a notification of DHL in the mailbox (and a customs fee of 12, -), that I missed the postman ... after my first anger had subsided, I called DHL, where the nice lady told me that the package was back in the depot and I had two options: It can deliver again on Monday or after swinging Raunheim to get it right to pick ... I opted for the latter.
We are before breakfast (and after I fell down the stairs) and were set off 30 minutes later to find the DHL depot in order to: The driver is not back yet, but on the way. We waited half an hour, then I hooked in a other employees for, rumtelefonierte a little and finally caught the driver: "He was still back in Wiesbaden on tour and probably only in 3 hours (great telephone information, I must say) ... we are back down again and I've just caught on my street. It is extra again gone to me after he has heard that we already have (for free) at the depot were ... What an odyssey for one package! And all because of 12 - which I had to pay tax again: /
Result: My last gift is there, I'm the hip hurt by the fall and I have so had breakfast against 15 clock ... I think next year I order the gifts in September!

Oh Amazon, where are thou?
Jaja .. like so many others, I am waiting for my Amazon deliveries. I ask this to note the plural, because there are 6 deliveries that are currently open. I know it's snowy and icy out there ... the bad winter blocked the streets and makes it simply impossible to properly cross the highway ... but as some of the supplies have been sent before to 7 days (according to Amazon), but should gradually arrive a little ...
I mean, my last ebay auction ended on Thursday night, I like the money paid, but on Sunday the article was there! So where is the problem? When shipping but it has also worked within 2 days ... the post can not really be guilty ...

it was obvious that somehow do not make it to Wiesbaden my parents this year ... after they actually wanted to come with tomorrow, but now they have canceled at the last moment: (Somehow I'm quite disappointed, even though I can understand that it is really risky for them, you just live in Suhl, there. there are 1.08 meters of fresh snow since yesterday afternoon (man, I would go to the chest) and below in the meantime everything is smooth as glass.
Then everything just be delayed until next year, they will come shortly after my birthday, even if they come more for the ticket to WI, which I give them for Christmas. I hope it snows in mid-January is not as extreme ... so slow I've had enough of the white glory!
Maybe I've started so I reinforced my thoughts to make new plot to ... He plays in the desert, Radhan, my Wstenstadt with the twelve wells, the site of action and I can I finally let off steam with Rasul as the main protagonist and Falballa pack to his side. I liked the two already, when I wrote "Kim" and it gave me time already in the fingers were itching to tell more about the two - as Rasul got his scar, what with the spirits of the underground river to has, as Radhan to became what it is now in Kim's imagination. Planned a youth book from 14 with a little love (Rasul and Falballa are already in love at that time), lots of action, a plot, magic and jinn / spirits ...
the moment I'm still cheap, because I can not decide what role Rasul occupies - that of the true heir to the throne or that of the second heir to the throne, looking for his brother ... I got to watch that it does not become stereotypical and not too predictable.
I just need a good working title ... the Momentary like I simply could not.

Stressful Christmas
is actually another whole month, since my last post? Somehow I get nothing! Here, the last days and weeks, so much happened, but life keeps me constantly on the move. Right now I'm hardly do more to write about everything, but maybe I can give a little insight into my last weeks.
The advent of "Like a Dream " keeps me mostly in check. Meanwhile, it looks quite good, almost all the doors are filled and I'm just waiting on some short stories:) I have himself over the weekend have to draw my Weihnachtsbildchen ready for the best Short story I wrote last weekend. Man, I can produce in combination with Christmas really just mega kitsch ... but well, it somehow fits the Christmas season.
Thanks to the short story but again I have to tackle like my very old baby "Assjah" (my old favorites and Teoma Lionare are also the protagonists), but as usual no time. Maybe I'm coming next year to ... I've only now realized how much I miss the two.
I also have a new plot in my head. Again, a youth book, again from 12/14, but this time complete fantasy. After I briefly introduced in "Kim" the desert town Radhan, I really want to write more about this place ... the new project plays directly into the city and Falballa and Rasul were my Protas. I'm intrigued by total time to write about the youth of the two. I hope next year to tackle the story.
has otherwise Vee-Jas got a new layout! There is is the book "The Cooks" meanwhile appeared, it was time in the publication to update our team page a bit. After all we have, meanwhile, worked for some publishers and it was really time that also applies to . Mediate

It always comes back to the question, what is the meaning of a 2, 3, or 4 channel helicopter Model? In many forums is discussed extensively. Here the explanation:
2-channel: up and down, right and left
3-channel: up and down, left and right, forward and backward
4-channel: up and down, tilt left and right, tilt forward and backward, right and left.

Berlin vacation:
I was 2 weeks for almost 5 days in Germany's capital and I'm really split opinion. In part, it was nice, but Berlin is not really my thing - too loud, too messy, too stressful, and above all too dirty. Especially the graffiti are hell ... they are found everywhere - on walls, fences, trees, doors and windows (!!). Since there are some lovely old buildings and houses are all zugesprayt ... is really the last one! I can not stand something.
Well ... was after all in many places of interest, have an old friend of Tanya met again and have even stayed with him and were searching for a day in order to Neuglobsow and on Stechlinsee ... yes, my Prota it is like there. I would have liked to stay longer.

Just got evening / night on the 4th Band of Bartimaeus read. As expected, a great book that the other volumes in no way inferior ... here is my personal opinion: is
After a long wait, finally, the fourth volume of the "Bartimaeus" series published and the shrewd Djinn presents itself so ill-tempered, insolent and sarcastic as ever. Even then, he exudes the same charm and his way made unnacharmliche talked about.
Bartimaeus works indirectly by the large King Solomon in Jerusalem, the Lord commanded a group of magicians, who in turn summoned several ghosts. All this owes Solomon, an extremely powerful magic ring, which all lie at your feet. After Bartimaeus is discarded by thanks to a magical artifact of his former master, and finally turned back to the other location, he believes finally in peace. He's wrong because shortly thereafter he is forced by the bad-tempered and nasty Egyptians Khaba back to Jerusalem and must now build under his command a temple for Solomon. Khaba that all the jinn and beings commands that are ever noticed bad or killed their masters, makes it difficult to work, but he would not Bartimaeus himself, if he does not bring to its unique way into trouble. Khaba then ends with the whole troop Djinn in the desert and are allowed to hunt bandits. Bartimaeus and his old friend Farqual save shortly afterwards a priest from the country Himjar and kill the bandits and their spirits. Bartimaeus immediately senses that the priest is not quite what it seems to be, after all, the girl can defend very well and is able itself to fight ghosts. Without knowing it, He has paved the way an assassin whose objective is to kill and bring Solomon to the ring itself. And shortly thereafter, the jinn forced the girl to help with their mission and found in an unspeakable mess again ...
"Bartimaeus 4" is just as exciting, funny and action packed as its predecessor. You can say, Bartimaeus was already as smart and foolhardy, and any fan Bartimaeus is the 4th Volume fell. Jonathan Stroud again creates sympathetic characters who alternate as before during the reporting. It is Bartimaeus As usual, the only one in "Footnotes talks" and breaks up with his funny comments between the scenes. Of course, Bartimaeus was already convinced of himself weird and it should be understood in order to get into trouble. In the beginning, missing a bit of a counterpart to him, Nathanael has taken in previous novels, but later Asmira blossomed as a worthy representative.
Total succeeds Jonathan Stroud a very charming, funny and good prologue to write his real Bartimaeus series, that is fun and wit and charm of the other Books in no way inferior. recommend!
I'm definitely excited and still a fan of this series. I have read that there'll be a graphic novel ... have to get straight times on the quest for it, because the book I would not want to miss.
Either way, I can recommend the band ... It's fun and exciting and fun to read.

4-week vacation = Chaos
Somehow I imagined my vacation a different ... I mean I should be slow so it used that turned out to my holiday plans as a general wind-eggs and I end up out of sheer stress, anger and depression can actually enjoy anything. But
this time was extremely easy! So extreme that I seriously consider my free time just at home spend in Wiesbaden, where I really feel comfortable and can relax sometimes. Since quite a lot has happened, sometimes I share my entry ...
The Frankfurt Book Fair was now not necessarily so great. We were there on Thursday and have met with friends rather than actually inspected the stalls and publishing programs. That was okay, but a little expensive when you consider that we had no real deadlines. But it's nice Keri, Maja, Andrea, and some other familiar faces was to look back or re-acquainted. That was probably definitely the highlight of the day there. What I am more annoyed was the fact that Jonathan Stroud, of course, was at the show and of course I did not want to go to the fair on Saturday (would one does not announce in a newsletter before anyway?). I love his books and would love to once seen him live, ... but that was nothing. So I've

Well ... and then we had from Saturday to Friday in Berlin - my first time to see the capital of Germany, was something special ... at least until I was there and got to know the city in kind. Result: I like the city is not at all! It is big, dirty, chaotic and confusing. Only the Museum Island, the Pergamon Museum and the new synagogue were great, followed by several streets. Unfortunately, it is impossible in Berlin just to enjoy old houses right ... Graffiti everywhere and any graffiti on the facades ... just ugly! I would not be surprised if even the cemeteries had been desecrated in this way (one reason why I have not looked at the Jewish cemetery).
At least I could look for a day Stechlin the lake and do some research for my latest book (the Kelpie-adventure). The lake is great Neuglobsow out (even the house where dwells my Prota, is still the way I've seen on the net), only Rheinberg was not now so great. But that is hardly a role. must modify a few things now that I know how certain buildings Look ... Otherwise
was quite stressful as we had found shelter in the short term with an old friend, rather than in our agent. Annoying, but we were close to downtown and most were back on foot. now I'll somehow nostalgic. I've got a workstation set up. has the "office" where dad used to sit and sleep. I throw the door, like Dad always did when he had to work and We watched TV. now I'll throw it in front of vroni.
I make myself a coffee at a time, because the machine is so far and counting - as dad is no longer with. I put the feet on the table and let the chair nachhinten squeal and work Keep it up. like dad. I am furious, like dad. I pull on my mri umrutschhoserl like dad. Now I just need to be asleep still and braced my head on the chest. the only thing that is not so good is that no Gisla comes along and I can stroke my kopfi. because I'm the Gisla! has not believed me the post man today (but I guess that was just because of "Gisla" skeptical) but I'm sure. well ok, otherwise is of course what we are working. I work often on my spider solitaire record.

Presbyopia Kind Of Hypermetropia
Resume Connichi 2010 and a decision ...
Connichi is over now and it was exhausting, humbling and beautiful in equal measure. Never before has a mass produced so fundamentally different feelings and it is difficult to say whether they generally positive or negative is run. First I have to separate this two basic things:
"Vee-Jas" and "the rest" (where the latter is not meant pejoratively ...)
Vee-Jas
I must honestly say, I like "Vee-Jas" very happy. I have worked for years with Tanya, it's great fun and we are a super team. When I look back now and inclusive with my work with ARS (where the process and the organization remains the same yes), I must say that I've been doing it all now 10 years. 10 years I attend trade shows and conventions, put out things bring new self-made products to the market, let posters, comics, calendars, print and merchandise and produce. All this was great fun was, but also stressful, and brought some much controversy and chaos with it.
When I then left the ARS was like a liberation. Tanya and I felt better and we were now on as "Vee-Jas" in Cons. This was largely successful, but for some time the competition is simply too large, printed products of any kind are not so popular and it is simply time that we take our leave of such fairs. There are dozens of other artists and artist groups, simply fit better Manga fairs.
After we had on the 2010 Connichi just lowered our expenses again, it was a done deal. "Vee-Jas" stops with its trade shows! We let the conventions behind us and concentrate solely on working with publishers and individuals. Even before a few weeks there was a clear with both of us that we had no desire to travel from fair to fair, and offer them things. The air is just out and we do not wait until we have ever been run no longer our issues!
We have therefore decided that the Leipzig Book Fair 2011 our last common Fair as "Vee-Jas" will be. There are we sell all that is left, after that final conclusion. As for Vee-Jas Connichi was one of the worst shows ever, I want to say that the rest is quite positive.

Connichi is over now and it was exhausting, humbling and beautiful in equal measure. Never before has a mass produced so fundamentally different feelings and it is difficult to say whether they generally positive or negative is run. First I have to separate this two basic things:
"Vee-Jas" and "the rest" (where the latter is not meant pejoratively ...)
Vee-Jas
I must honestly say, I like "Vee-Jas" very happy. I have worked for years with Tanya, it's great fun and we are a super team. When I look back now and inclusive with my work with ARS (where the process and the organization remains the same yes), I must say that I've been doing it all now 10 years. 10 years I attend trade shows and conventions, put out things bring new self-made products to the market, let posters, comics, calendars, print and merchandise and produce. All this was great fun was, but also stressful, and brought some much controversy and chaos with it.
When I then left the ARS was like a liberation. Tanya and I felt better and we were now on as "Vee-Jas" in Cons. This was largely successful, but for some time the competition is simply too large, printed products of any kind are not so popular and it is simply time that we take our leave of such fairs. There are dozens of other artists and artist groups, simply fit better Manga fairs.
After we had on the 2010 Connichi just lowered our expenses again, it was a done deal. "Vee-Jas" stops with its trade shows! We let the conventions behind us and concentrate solely on working with publishers and individuals. Even before a few weeks there was a clear with both of us that we had no desire to travel from fair to fair, and offer them things. The air is just out and we do not wait until we have ever been run no longer our issues!
We have therefore decided that the Leipzig Book Fair 2011 our last common Fair as "Vee-Jas" will be. There are we sell all that is left, after that final conclusion. From 2011, "Vee-Jas" will be only as an illustrator team takes on the direct orders of publishers and individuals. We design anyway book cover, design license plates and paint the most impossible things (exhibition game signs, table tops ...). From now on Vee-Jas will only be active in this way.
are of course both Tanya and I continue to draw pictures and bring our characters on the paper. I will continue drawing as a hobby, Tanya will continue as Illustrator work. Now and then we will certainly wish to print posters or Bookmarks can, but not to the same extent that we have been doing ...
It was a good time, but we both think that will be in the long run this decision is the right thing.
The rest
As for Vee-Jas Connichi was one of the worst shows ever, I want to say that the rest is quite positive.
and foremost was the Saturday afternoon for a time, which I will not soon forget. I had with Tanya the opportunity my absolute interviewing favorite artist - You Higuri. I never thought that I would really even have the chance to speak directly to almost a half hours with her (of course a very good translator, funny enough, even the author of Child and Youth books was:)). After we had begun nearly a quarter of an hour late (the elevator was hell!), We have covered about half an hour, what has been You Higuri does nothing. She has very patiently answered all my questions, sometimes betray a lot about themselves and their way of working and was super nice. The full interview will probably be the end of the month on my website "Like a Dream."
Especially interesting was her face as I put some of their extremely old plants (Doujinshi) have been excavated for signing. Among them was 20 years old including a failure pressure of a Doujinshi, which she had made as a thesis of their studies. She was also so kind to me an original sketch of "Gorgeous Carat" be prepared. It is really great and is very close to their fans. Otherwise, I have the artbook of "Black Butler" and found me and brought in a contest of "KAZE" been through, where you could win the first DVD of the series. Terrible Pain In My Right Side And Back
Done!
It is finished! My project "Kim" has been completely revised this morning to the Agency. Finally it is first band finished and I am relieved more than. I do not remember how often I read the first chapter ... I think it will probably have been two dozen times. So slowly I know it by heart. I'm also the two conversations with my Protas NAMARES to the brink of madness have driven! Not only that, because so many plot holes were mentioned, I did not watch all the time to give away too much, after all, the band was supposed to be complete in itself (although, of course, would be by my side continuations no problem!).
Overall, I would like to thank all my beta readers. It could, thanks to your help, all 35 (!) pages are cut out! The story now includes only 380 pages and has become more exciting and hopefully amusing. I very much hope that publishing this opinion, yet interest in my "Baby" show. It would be so great to see the story as a book in the store, but right now I do not want to anticipate too far ... a big step behind me and I'm just happy.

is in September's round at Vee-Jas and therefore me. Almost every weekend we expect exhibitions, readings and workshops. Accordingly, much I have right now around the ears. There are many preparations to make and I wonder seriously where has the time gone! At least I had thought until recently to have an infinite amount of time for preparations!

What To Expect After Deworming A Puppy
Fangirlism on ... Kuroshitsuji!
I admit that I still rare anime look ... I have no time to watch series with subtitles, because I can not work (usually run at my films and I'm drawing or programming by the way). But some time ago I came across the manga "Black Butler" and I really like the, I've started a few days, the corresponding series "Kuroshitsuji" look.
Yes, and now I am already addicted to typical Fangirlism! I love Sebastian udn the other characters. The story has something for themselves as they comes along pretty exciting and mysterious and raises many questions waiting to be answered. Currently have I just know half of the 1st Season achieved, but I think this weekend I will see the series end. My plans to write, I have already given up anyway, as we do on Saturday at the Renaissance Faire in Rumpenheim. I was so far from everything on a MA-market ... I am looking forward to it, but at the same time I am annoyed that I still do not get to write ...
No matter ... I simply do not begrudge the break, watch some anime (maybe there is then still "FMA Brotherhood" in an act of violence of 2-3 days) and craft in the new design for "Like a Dream" ; around ... for the Page I have a very special layout that is planned;) is

Meanwhile, "Kim" for several weeks prior to the beta readers, and there were quite a bit of feedback and interesting comments. I find it amazing how different a story is perceived. For me it is really the first time I got real beta reader and it is an extraordinary experience. In particular, the different opinions on some passages are downright fascinating.
For example, when it comes to Annatar:
He is a magician in a medieval world and is "called" in today's Wiesbaden. He skipped over in seconds centuries of human history (even if he comes from a fantasy world, the basics are still medieval).
beta reader 1 says Annatar has too much fear of cars and the modern stuff, after all, he is with magic and magicians can create almost anything you can imagine. He should be open to the world.
Beta Reader 2 believes that his reactions are too lax ... he should respond to more extreme all that flows to it (so á la "Catwoman").
Maybe I'm the problem really found the perfect balance, or so it seems, p
Otherwise today was the first complete assessment of the novel ... a colleague from the ink circle made within 2 weeks of reading the entire manual ... and I think it's great how much time they spent and how history has affected them. It has given me a lot of notes and comments (and still plans to oO make a detailed chapter critique;). In any case, great, what is her everything, and noticed how the book got a whole. I am grad that all in all been quite well received. sometimes had my doubts if I do not write too confusing and boring;)
